Hurom H400 Vs Nutribullet

Hurom H400 Vs Nutribullet

Hurom is a pioneering brand in the realm of juicer manufacturing and is known for some of the most advanced juicing technology to date. Hurom has climbed its way to the top of the market through its consistency, excellence and dedication to the mission of making quality juices. Nutribullet is a very popular household brand name, known for its practicality and affordability for juicers and blenders alike. Nutribullet has received many awards and has grown a strong reputation globally. How will the Hurom H400 compare to the Nutribullet 01515 Centrifugal juicer?

What Is Hurom H400?

Hurom’s newest addition to the family and the H range, the Hurom H400 has taken the juicing industry by storm with its innovative technology and unique augur mechanism. Before all the technical specs of the juicer, let’s talk about what the Hurom H400 is. The Hurom H400 is a self-feeding slow juicer that comes in silver, black and white and costs £599 on our website. It has a scrub-free design that simply washes away pulp and juice from its components and features a wide hopper and chamber for ample space for whole pieces of fruits and vegetables. Hurom has taken the juicing market to the next level since the release of the H400 model due to its 2-part augur mechanism - it has been designed with smaller slits allowing for even less pulp to go into the juice. This slow juicer also produces a large juice yield from produce and with the cost of living at an all-time high and organic produce becoming more and more expensive, you want to get the most juice out of your ingredients. The slow-spinning augur allows juice to be extracted slowly but thoroughly, preserving the nutrients and minerals in your juice, leaving you with smooth, nutrient-packed juice every time.

What is The Nutribullet 01515 Centrifugal Juicer?

Centrifugal juicer

Nutribullet has branched out from personal blenders and delved into the world of centrifugal juicers. The Nutribullet 01515 is a centrifugal juicer that costs £99.99 and is designed for rapid juicing. Nutribullet’s centrifugal juicer has 2-speed functions, a wide chute to minimise prep and dishwasher-safe pieces. This juicer has been created for convenience,  affordability and for anyone who is completely new to juicing or simply wants a quick solution. Centrifugal juicers will tear your ingredients apart at high rates to extract the juice quickly, however, this will destroy the nutrients, leave you with wet pulp, and necessitate more ingredients to produce the same amount of juice compared to a slow juicer. If you are not worried about juice yield, the texture of juice or the quality of your juices, then the Nutribullet 01515 may be for you, but review our alternatives below first before making your final decision.

Which One Is Superior?

The obvious answer is that the Hurom H400 is superior, however, with such a vast price difference, are we surprised?..

Although we knew the Hurom H400 would come out on top, we cannot fault the Nutribullet juicer for its pricepoint, costing roughly 1/6th of the price of a Hurom H400, it still gets the job done to the standard expected for the price. It is worth mentioning that although the Hurom H400 sits at £599, if you factor in the long term cost for ingredients, you are likely to save money compared to the Nutribullet because slow juicers need fewer ingredients to produce large amounts of juice, this is proven with their dry pulp after a juicing session.

The Hurom H400 outshines the Nutribullet centrifugal juicer from the design down to the technology used. The Hurom H400 has a slower RPM of 90, creating a larger, nutrient-rich juice yield, with a velvety smooth texture finish with all juices, whereas the Nutribullet spins between 12,000-14,000 RPM, which will destroy nutrients and not extract juice as effectively. The design of both of these juicers is very distinctive - the Hurom H400 is sleek and compact, however the Nutribullet 01515 is bulkier with extra parts that need storing away with the juicer.

Finally, the Nutribullet juicer blades will need to be changed every 6-8 months (depending on usage) and the juicer itself comes with a 1 year manufacturer's guarantee. In contrast, the Hurom H400 comes with an extended 10 year warranty on the motor and 5 years for the functional parts.

In conclusion, the Hurom H400 comes out on top in every way when compared to the Nutribullet 01515 centrifugal juicer, but with a bigger budget in play, you would expect the H400 to be better. With this being said, there are plenty of other juicers within a similar price range which we think are much better value and in our extensive experience will produce better results consistently compared to the Nutribullet juicer.
