The Sana Supreme 727 is quite the unique juicer, and it is brimming with intriguing and useful features, some of which we’ve never seen before. In particular, it stands out for its variable-speed function, which allows any of four operating speeds to be selected, for an optimised juicing process. When combined with the other great features found in the 727, this makes for a highly impressive package.
Of all its features, the Sana 727 is especially interesting because of its variable-speed function. This function allows it to operate at 40, 65, 90 or 120 rotations per minute (RPM) depending on the selected speed setting. Control of the different speed settings is possible through a dial on the side of the juicer, and it is possible to switch between settings at any point.
By varying the speed, it is possible to optimise the juicing process for different types of ingredients, allowing for better yields. The slower speeds are ideal for fibrous ingredients such as celery and kale, and the faster speeds tend to be best for softer produce such as citrus fruits.
Alongside its adjustable speed settings, the 727 makes use of some less obvious features to improve the juicing experience. Firstly, its feed chute has two inlet holes built into it to make feeding ingredients quicker and easier. The first inlet is ideal for long and thin ingredients, where the second inlet makes feeding ingredients from spinach to apple segments a breeze.
Additionally, this juicer is one of very few to utilise an auto-reverse function. This function detects when the 727 is becoming backed up or blocked and immediately switches it into reverse. By doing so, it can protect the parts and the motor from damage, keeping the juicer in better condition for longer.
Beyond its juicing features, the Sana Supreme 727 also exceeds expectations through its accessories. The selection offered is particularly impressive, but of the entire lot, the juice collection glass stands out. Each one of these glasses is handmade to a bespoke standard from heavy-duty Bohemian crystal glass. They are also paired with a stainless-steel pulp collection bowl to give the 727 an even more premium appearance.
On top of those accessories, the 727 includes a blank and coarse screen. The blank screen allows the juicer to mix and grind ingredients to produce nut butter and minced products. The coarse screen, on the other hand, allows for pulpier juices to be produced and is ideal when juicing ingredients such as citrus fruits.
Finally, the Sana Supreme 727 also seeks to impress with its modern and chic exterior. Designed to be stylish, it is an attractive juicer, especially when compared to a majority of other horizontal models. It also benefits from being compact, and it balances its height and length to great effect. This perk is the result of positioning the motor vertically, keeping wasted space to a minimum.
The Sana 727 is the first juicer with a variable motor which allows you to adjust the speed of the motor depending on the ingredients or the length of the juicing session.
Slower juicing speeds are ideal for juicing fibrous ingredients like celery and kale since it allows for more contact time with the auger, pressing out as much juice as possible. On the other hand, faster juicing speeds are great for easier-to-juice ingredients like citrus fruits. Another benefit is that it allows for batch juicing, by setting it to 40 RPM (the lowest setting) you can juice for longer without the motor overheating.
