** Angel have recently updated the packaging for their juicers and they now come with two internal boxes labelled 1 and two labelled 4. One of the boxes labelled 1 consists of the Fine Screen and the other box is empty as a packing filler. The two boxes labelled 4, one contains the pulp and juice containers and again the second one is empty and used as a packing filler.
I have got an experience over the last 12 years with various juicers. If I was to get a slow juicer, because it is much cheaper than this one, I would not get the vertical ones as I have much better experience with the 'long' ones (horizontal ones). I also have an experience with centrifugal juicer, and that's so great and convenient as it is fast, but ones you connect to the realm of true nature, you can feel that because of the speed, it 'stresses' the vegetables and all the enzymes, it makes them oxidise I suppose too, and that's no good if you want oxygen and living enzymes in your juices rather than just the minerals and vitamins. The slow juicers were always good, not 'stressing' out the veggies, BUT they (the ones I have had) seem to not make a completely 'dry' pulp, and they seemed to make lots of foam when making leafy green veggies and also I used to have to sieve the juice because bits of pulp were in it (not wanting those bits to slow the digestion of the juices). So I did some researches and came across this twin gear one. I also looked at the Greenstar, which many people recommend and it is much cheaper which is great, so I looked at some videos on youtube, several ones to really see how both juicers work and I decided to treat myself for the Angel one. And I love it so very much. It's quite fast to my surprise, for me personally it is easy to clean, it is not too loud (compare to my slow juicer), and I can see the juice it makes is a very good quality - the pulp is dry, like a saw dust, so I have less waste and more juice. Incredible juicer with more yield than most. Over a year or so, I’ll save far more money on organic carrots using this juicer than going with a cheaper model. It’s easy to set up and fairly simple to clean, too. Overall, super happy with my purchase and I’d definitely recommend you buy this juicer if you’re planning to do a lot of juicing. Also, I found it very easy to order using juicers.co.uk and it arrived the next day.
I treated myself to the 8500 Angel Juicer for help with my health. The quality of the juice compared to my previous juicer is beyond measure. This really is just fantastic. I've had it for 2 years now and I find the juice tastes so fresh and gorgeous. It's best to clean it as soon as you've finished using it or it is a bit of a pain if it dries. Otherwise, it's pretty easy to clean with the brush supplied.
I am really pleased to have my 8500 Angel juicer. It was worth the price. 3 weeks earlier I bought my parents the Sana-Omega juicer so I have a real comparison. There is much less pulp from Angel juicer compared to Sana juicer and it is also much drier. According to the manual Angel juicer is producing 34% more juice compared to other juicers so in long run it is actually cheaper- I also noticed more juice myself compared to Sana. Juice is also clearer and does not need filtering from small pulp/fiber. Now I bit regret I did not buy Angel juicer for my parents!
Top a quality juicer, with amazing juice and very dry pulp. This is absolutely different level, and really easy to clean.
This juicer is the best in many ways; the pulp is dry, juice tastes so much better compared to another juicer I graduated from, it is easy to assemble, use and clean.
Appears to be a good substantial, well made. piece of quality equipment. New to juicing, so too early to judge. Introductory starter book, with recipes, would have been most welcome, particularly with such a premium grade machine and what it is intended to produce. Very impressed with quality of juices produced. Currently acclimatising tasting purity of juice, against the toxins of processed foods. See how things progress in approx. six months.
The delivery was super quick, next day via DPD. The juicer is amazing, the pulp comes out so dry. You seriously use less veg compared to other juicers I had before (centrifugal and masticating £200-300). It also breaks down the cellulose to release nutrients better than other juicers. The machine is beautiful and I think it will last ages. Plus it's the only juicer that's 100% plastic free, so you won't get microplastics in your juice. I also use the Nutripress manual juicer we got from this website for oranges that is also plastic free. Don't buy juicers for £200-500. Just save up and get Angel, it's worth it.
Having worked my way up from budget juicers to a Korean vertical Juicer I can honestly say the Angel is head and shoulders above the rest. I have a mechanical background and the Angel ticks all the boxes from construction to juice quality. With the vertical juicer I used to make a set volume of juice for my wife and myself, to make the same volume with the Angel it required much less produce. The juice was juice and not grainy at all. Chopped up an Avocado seed and it juiced it no problem. Not so good with soft fruit or pithy berries but then it's said Juice vegetables & eat fruit. Stalky things like Parsley, Celery and narrow leaf cabbage will self feed and the stringy fibers get chopped up. Other juicers the fibers get wrapped around the auger. From my view point it's false economy to get on the juicer learning curve, if you can just bite the bullet and buy once. Get the Angel, you wont regret it.
