If you’re looking to buy your first juicer or upgrade from an existing one then you may well be feeling a bit overwhelmed. It’s understandable, there are a lot of juicers available these days and it’s tough to tell what makes one better than another.
Therefore, to help you out, we’ve compiled a list of some cold press juicers we can wholeheartedly recommend based on our over 35 years of combined juicing experience.
To cater for everyone, we’ll be mentioning models at a wide range of price points with a good selection of both vertical and horizontal slow juicers. So, if you have a specific price in mind, feel free to skip to the most relevant section.
In order to separate the truly great juicers out from the crowd, we assess models on the following criteria:
Juice yield and quality
Ease of use
Durability and build quality
Juice yield and quality - In short, juice yield refers to how much juice is actually extracted from ingredients. Juice quality, on the other hand, refers to nutrient levels within the juice.
Durability and build quality - This really is what it says on the tin. Are the parts made of high-quality, damage resistant materials and has the juicer been manufactured to a good standard?
Lastly, if you’re quite new to juicers/juicing and don’t know the strengths and weaknesses of different juicer styles. We have a separate article you can find here that should get you up to speed. We highly recommend reading this to ensure you get the right sort of juicer for your needs.

In stark contrast to the entry-level tier, the midrange tier is incredibly competitive and it features the most models by far. After a lot of consideration, these are our top picks for this group:
A step beyond the standard, premium juicers are designed to be the best at what they do and are always worth the investment. However, even at this tier, we feel these models are the ones that most deserve your attention:
Unlike the previous groups, this ultra-premium category is a bit unique, as it features 3 models all from the same brand. These are the:
If you’ve made it here, you’ve likely now experienced most or all of our current cold press juicer recommendations. However, while these are our top picks, that doesn’t mean that all the models we haven’t mentioned are awful.
Lots of good juicers that we would happily use didn’t earn a mention, and in most cases, this was simply a result of them being outcompeted, normally on price or small differences in the accessories or warranty offered.
However, if you decide to stray from these recommendations, we do highly recommend sticking with models from genuinely reputable brands. Lots of budget brands are good at seeming amazing on paper, but in our experience, they never live up to expectations in reality.
Nonetheless, thanks for reading this far and we hope we’ve been able to help you at least narrow down your options or bring the ideal model for your needs to your attention.
If not, feel free to give us a call or contact our support team via email. Our juicer experts would be happy to work through the options with you to ensure you find the most suitable model.
