The design stretches further than appearances by incorporating a 2oz barlot lid. A barlot lid is a small removable section of the lid of the blender that allows you to add powders, liquids or even smaller ingredients while blending. To add to the handiness of this feature, the barlot lid also includes measurements on the side! Gastroback has also included a sensor in the lid of the blender as a safety feature, which does not allow the blender to operate without the lid being correctly attached.
