The Hurom H100 is a sophisticated juicer that has completely changed the worlds perception on the best way to juice through its reworked juicing mechanism. This new screenless design offers an improved user experience during the entire juicing process and combines perfectly with great performance, exciting new features and a suave design to produce an excellent juicer with some of the best features on the market.
The H100 is especially exciting because of its new method of separating juice and pulp. Unlike other vertical models which use a sieving screen around the augur, this model instead uses a strainer, which consists of 2 parts that slot together, leaving only very thin slits for juice to pass through. This strainer is much easier to clean after juicing since it can be separated, leaving plenty of room to reach bits of remaining pulp.
Alongside the new strainer juicing system, the Hurom H100 also has a couple of other interesting features. For starters it has a different method of controlling pulp ejection and instead of the common lever it instead has a switch placed directly above the outlet. The switch can be easily adjusted in fine amounts and allows for a highly customised juicing process.
Another great feature of the H100 is the dual inlet hopper, which offers a long and straight chute for ingredients such as carrots and a wide funnel for leafy greens and soft fruits. Having different inlets for different ingredients ensures that they can drop down the chute in an optimal manner, allowing them to be collected easily by the augur.
When all the great features of the H100 come together it truly becomes an amazing juicer, and it offers performance that can equal many other vertical models currently on the market. The 43 RPM dual wing augur is very efficient and can extract plenty of juice from ingredients in a short timeframe, ensuring that nutrients and vitamins are maintained through the cold press process.
It has now become a standard for vertical models to include accessories to widen their available functions and despite its reworked juicing design, the H100 doesn’t disappoint in this regard. As with most Hurom models, this device is equipped with a homogenising blank and a wide strainer.
The blank transforms the H100 into a mixer and is perfect for producing sorbets, nut butters, breadcrumbs and more. The wide strainer can be used in combination with the inner strainer to form a new part with slightly wider slits. These slits allow some pulp to pass through to the final end product, producing a smoothie instead of a juice.
I've used one slow juicer in the past, problems with the mesh splitting & cleaning. This one is a game changer. Apart from the preparation time, this machine works efficiently and quickly. Cleaning up is a breeze. The only issue I had in the beginning was the juicer not turning on because the top was incorrectly placed. Got it now. Used every day and loving it.
I've had this in my shopping basket for about a year hoping the price would come down, it didn't but I couldn't take my old centrifugal juicer anymore. So this, plus the fact that I've used Hurom slow juicers when living in Asia and really wanted to get back to that quality made me take the plunge. In terms of aesthetics, the machine is stunningly beautiful and enhances my kitchen. The parts are quality, sturdy and it's very well made. I would say that it's a little bigger than expected (never was very good with measurements) and the double-holed hopper design is a bit frustrating. I think it would be better with just one hole. Going back to the positives, it's extremely quiet, the quietest juicer I've ever had (and I've had a few) and it makes loads more juice than my old centrifugal and even my Hurom from Asia. So glad they've done away with the tiresome and annoying to clean strainer, substituting it with two containers which rinse easily (see their video for a better explanation). Added to that, the pulp is very dry, apart from very wet foods like cucumber. It handles greens very well too. In addition and this is probably the best factor of all...the juice tastes AMAZING! Much more delicious than any of my previous juicers. So, the only negatives for me are the slightly unnecessary double hopper (hence 4 stars instead of 5) and the fact that it's a big, slightly unwieldy machine, but the positives - way more juice which is way more delicious tasting, the near silence of its operation, plus the beauty of it, and it's SUPER EASY to clean with no strainer, far outweigh the negatives. I needn't have waited a year, it's worth every penny.
Absolutely love our Hurom H100 Juicer! It was a large purchase so we did a lot of research prior to purchase and we've not been disappointed. Highlights are: it's quiet, easy to rinse clean and efficient (with very dry pulp and lots of juice extracted). I would highly recommend this product and brand.
It's quick and it looks great - okay? My approach for buying a juicer was "do-able gets done". The idea of having a rapid-clean machine was very appealing. Have to say that the addition of the vacuum jug aids that approach since I can get two juices for one press. I adore the jug (from Juicers.co.uk) - so well designed! I had a brief moment of post-purchase-paranoia when I looked up a review online. The man held up a sieve full of pulp which was much larger from the Huron than it was from the Omega. That certainly has not been my finding; maybe a tea-strainer of pulp is left - that's all! I should have chosen a juicer with a larger throat - but design is 'my thing' and I don't mind a little extra chopping. The construction is amazingly robust; it's a surprisingly hefty machine. I'm two weeks in to almost daily use, the yield is very good and the waste is quite dry to the touch. I recommend it!
I bought a juicer to overhaul my health and vitality. Came across juicers.co.uk and their very helpful article on choosing the best juicer, after looking at a few other sites, including YouTube video reviews, I think Juicers has gotten the market sussed and as they state, have 1st hand knowledge of the best in the class. That made me feel more confident that whatever I bought via their site had already been road-tested and given their stamp of approval. Price is competitive via Juicers. Same price on Amazon but without the extras - chopping board (very thin, you might need to get something sturdier), sharp knife (very handy) and vacuum jug (very handy too)! Juicers also offers aftercare which is a major bonus given the financial outlay. So, after all of 1 day researching, I ordered this Hurom100 red. Arrived in 2 working days as promised though I waited excitedly for 4 as I ordered it on a Saturday. It came well-packaged with adequate warning of its arrival. In the week I’ve had it, I’ve used it most days. The juice is fresh and tasty with minimal waste. Recipe books included are also handy - for me which ailment each fruit/vegetable would be good for has been most useful. Not used the smoothie or ice cream screens but can’t wait to get there.
