Hurom are striding forwards with juicer innovation, and the H-AI is the first ever self-feeding juicer to be released in the UK. The smart hopper design allows the H-AI to operate automatically, using a spinning blade to force ingredients down into the double winged augur. Therefore, the only manual operation required is filling the hopper with ingredients.
On top of that, the H-AI provides some other useful features in the form of a vertical pulp outlet and a 3-Degree juicing chamber tilt. These new features link well with Hurom’s latest Alpha+ juicing technology to optimise the juicing process more than ever before.

Smart self-feeding hopper

Self-Feeding Smart Hopper
The hopper design for the H-AI is one of a kind and allows this juicer to operate without manual aid. It functions through the use of a rotating blade in the centre of the hopper chamber, which feeds ingredients into the augur. The blade rotates at a balanced speed, allowing it to feed ingredients at an optimal rate while cutting them down as required.
The self-feeding design removes the common issues of clogging and overfeeding from the juicing process since manual interaction isn’t required. Therefore, the parts and motor will suffer less wear over time and all juice produced will be guaranteed to have a high nutritional value.
The Alpha+ components found in the H-AI serve as upgrades from the original Alpha technology seen in the HZ and H-AA. They provide specific improvements to the juicing chamber, which now has an inbuilt hex connector that makes the assembly process much smoother. On top of that, the cog that controls the spinning brush and screen can also be removed in these components, making it easier to clean if pulp gets stuck in it. These are the only new features, but the Alpha+ technology is still capable of flawless performance. The augur rotates at a slow 43 RPM, and the spinning brush and screen can still turn separately at 17 RPM. Providing unbeatable yields and significantly less froth.
Refined Juicing Experience
The self-feeding function of the H-AI allows it to provide a relaxed juicing experience, but that isn't the only beneficial change. The 3-Degree tilt of the juicing chamber makes it easy to get every drop of juice extracted into your glass, and it means that you no longer need to tip the whole juicer. Furthermore, the unique vertical pulp container design allows pulp from the H-AI to fall directly down from the juicing chamber. That allows pulp flow to be much more efficient, especially when used in combination with the pulp discharge control lever.
10 Years (Motor) 5 Years (Parts)
Up to expectation.
I was impressed when opening the product, the quality of the build was immediately apparent. Easy to assemble and very intuitive even without the very comprehensive instructions. It performs exactly as described and extracts all the liquid from the various vegetable and fruit I have been using. It was expensive, but I think good value for the money. It rinses clean very easily, but close attention will have to be paid when cleaning the screen. The brush provided is essential, I am hoping this can be obtained separately as it will wear out and need to be replaced! Very happy with this model.

Hurom Self Feeding Juicer
This juicer is fantastic. After owning a cheap centrifugal juicer which yielded a few drops of juice from a bag full of oranges after splattering most of it around the insides of the machine itself, I decided to dust off the wallet and invest in the Hurom. I'm so happy I did. It effortlessly and silently went to work on my first batch of prepared oranges, banana and carrots, reducing the pulp down to a few dry shreds and discarding it in the most elegant of fashions in the side compartment, whilst the golden juices lapped away slowly inside the revolving auger and majestically came pouring out the front nozzle into the waiting measuring container. Yes it really was that heavenly and I'm pleased with the purchase. The only raised eyebrow that I have is the YouTube video that is used to promote this product - it suggests that you don't need to do that much preparation and in the video, I'm sure I saw a few half cut apples being thrown into the self feeding container, which is contradictory to the manual which suggests that everything needs to be prepared (pips removed, etc) and fruit cut down to 3cm. The manual also wasn't too clear on things like carrots so a bit hard to tell who to follow but I think you just end up doing a suck it and see approach. One other thing is that the machine is very stylish so it's a bit of a let down that the plastic measuring container just sits like a forgotten accessory in front of the nozzle and doesn't have a nice stand or connecting attachment to sit in. Anyways, all in all one very happy customer and would definitely recommend this product, particularly if you're a soft fruit juicer like me!

Simple instructions, easy to use and easy to clean. Makes lovely juice too! I have made juice from the Huron booklet which came with my machine and they all work out well. I haven’t given five *s because I haven’t got anything to compare my machine with. I would buy this product again.

Clean, quick, simple
I ran into an issue with a vertical slow juicer recently when I used the coarse screen. Pulp impacted in the machine and it took me 30 exhausting minutes to release the lid to clean it. This Hurom is another matter. You pop the adjustable pulp lever to half at the end of the juicing cycle and let the machine run a little longer, put it into reverse briefly and it’s easy to open. If you did get stuck I reckon it would still be ok because the hopper has a big handle to take hold of instead of being just a smooth tube.
It took me a few attempts to get this going because of the safety features- basically you build it up, put the prepared vegetables into the hopper, close the lid properly, then seat it onto the motor, handle towards the rear (important- or it doesn’t start). After that, turn it on and wonderful juice appears with no fuss. I’ve got the Angel juicer, twin gear Greenstar, and Omega megamouth. I definitely like this best.

Brilliant - A must buy
I don't often leave reviews, usually only when I want to write something scathing. I unpacked this beautiful juicer today as soon as I got home from work and made the best juice I have ever tried (this being my third juicer). Easy to assemble, build quality is excellent, it is quiet, easy to clean, but the juice was absolutely beautiful. Not one bit in it. If you can afford it or if it is close to your budget I have to say go for it, it is amazing. Thank you Hurom!

My first Slow Juicer
I have nothing to compare this juicer to but I researched slow juicers for 2 days before taking the plunge and making an investment and purchasing the Hurom Self Feeding juicer. I have used this juicer every day since I got it almost 2 weeks ago now. I don’t find juicing a chore with this machine plus it is quiet, easy to use, looks beautiful in my kitchen and clean up is a lot less painful than I thought it would be. The quality of the juice is excellent and the quantity of pulp seems so small in comparison to how much fruit and veg I’m using.
Mild staining is occurring in the plastic already as I’ve used turmeric, carrots and beetroot lately.
I love this juicer and long may I enjoy the quality of juice from this machine.

So decided to take the plunge after a period of time trying to decide what Juicer to go for,After speaking with a very helpful lady from Juicers.co.uk I decided to go for the Hurom self feeding juicer.
The cost of the juicer is slightly higher than what I wanted to pay however what price do you put on your health, the juicer is sleek, stylish and easy to clean and it works effortlessly producing excellant yield from the fruit and vegetables. I would thoroughly recommend this juicer to anyone who is thinking about purchasing this model....
The cleaning was a big thing for me and so far I have been impressed with how easy this is to clean after putting it through its paces, I am one very happy customer

Well worth the money
Spent a lot of time looking for a new juicer as my last one was such a let down. Spoke on chat to a customer service advisor who was EXTREMELY helpful and pointed me to this juicer. I did my own research and decided to take the plunge and buy it as I am a big fan of new technology.
It has NOT disappointed. Juice is superb and the hopper has no problem juicing the ingredients. I like the fact that I can just leave the juicer to get on & juice whilst I get on with other things. With a 16 month old Baby it makes life so much easier & baby LOVES the juice too. Best investment I have made in a long time.
