If you are new to the juicing world but are looking for something compact that will not take up much space in your kitchen yet giving a superior yield in juice, then the Hurom HP is just the right model for you. This comes in at a very low price for a vertical masticating juicer. It still has the slow rotational speed of 43 RPM which is on par with most of the other Hurom models.
The Hurom HP is one of Hurom’s most compact juicers having a small footprint. This makes it the most ideal gadget for small kitchens especially, as it is not very tall either which is unlike most other vertical models. The Hurom HP also has a more rounded shape on its body making the base appear more circular compared to other Hurom models which adds to the reduced footprint.
The double winged augur enables for a double cut with every 360 degree rotation making chopping more e���cient and in term improving the juice yield and e���ciency of the juicer to extract the juice. This also reduces the juicing time. The augur also rotates at 43 RPM which significantly improves the juice yield.
The use of the inner spinning brush allows for the juicing chamber and fine strainer to be cleaned simultaneously whilst the juicer is extracting juice. The juice flap at the front of the drum allows for quick and e���cient cleaning after use with the addition of water into the juicing chamber.
The Hurom HP has been designed to only operate if all the parts are assembled correctly. This is a safety mechanism to prevent incorrect use of juicer resulting in accidents. The juicer has an inbuilt cooling system with integrated heat vents to prevent overheating.
With only two of us, and a really small kitchen, this juicer is exactly what we were looking for. It juices carrots, turmeric, ginger & celery without any issues. In-fact, I haven't come across anything it won't juice! There is a small amount of waste up inside the axel, but not enough to cause bother. It's fairly easy to clean, I do put it in the dishwasher occasionally as using turmeric in it does cause everything to stain (for easier cleaning, slice your celery).
I bought this for its slowness (to preserve nutritional content), and for its small footprint as my space is limited. I'm delighted with it. The pulp comes through very dry, and the continuous output of juice and pulp means you can make as much as you want at one go. It took me a few goes to get used to it — at first I found it a bit fiddly and stressful to take apart and re-assemble, but now I'm familiar with it I find it quick and easy. There's one particular place to watch — the tiny outlet into the exit chute for the pulp accumulates hard-to-shift debris. I use a fine pointy wooden skewer/kebab stick to get every last bit of plant debris out when I'm cleaning it; I think neglecting to do that would swiftly lead to it jamming. You also have to make sure to remember to replace the silicone bung in that outlet after washing up. Now those small issues are absorbed into my expectation of the maintenance routine, I find it an absolute dream to use. Really glad I bought it; great product, quiet and efficient. Brilliant.

If you have received a faulty or damaged product, you can reach out to our support team (support@juicers.co.uk) to discuss your available options. These include receiving a refund or getting another unit sent out to you as a replacement, and shipping the faulty and or damaged unit back. If you have used the product before contacting us, you would need to provide evidence that the unit was faulty before use and did not become damaged or faulty due to user error when using the product.
