The High mode instead outputs up to 2000 RPM and is best used in combination with the slicing and grating discs. Finally, the Pulse mode is best for rough chopping or finishing a mixture.

It also benefits from being ‘twist-free’, as the work bowl connects through a handy snap-lock mechanism in place of the commonly seen twist-lock method. Therefore, it is faster to connect and disconnect and remains just as secure when in use.
Last but not least, KitchenAid has also built a hinge into the lid, making it easy to access the contents of the work bowl at a moments notice through the fast release clasp. Although, if desired, the lid can still be fully removed at the hinge for adaptive convenience.
