Registered the product with KitchenAid for the extended warranty, Have used it already and am pleasantly surprised to find that the mixer has the power equivalent to my old corded. Love the 7 speed switch, with the slow start (extremely useful) and the fact is cordless really helped as my son wanted to help make cakes and could take the mixer to the dining table and not have to worry about trailing leads.
